The department trains Bachelor's specialists in the specialties 6B11121-producer and technology of theatrical performances, 6B11124 –cultural leisure and pop singing.
The department has a student research circle "Parasat", a recording and processing studio, a vocal instrumental ensemble, a team of the TCC "Madumazel" (KVN), a vocal ensemble "K7", a student youth folk theater "Duman".
Teachers and students of the department regularly participate in cultural and creative events at the Republican, regional and city levels.
