On January 14, a Round Table on the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate took place in the main building of the South Kazakhstan State University named after M.Auezov. The researchers of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Sh.Ualikhanov, Candidate of Historical Sciences, A.Shashayev, Department Head R.Orazov, Head of Education and Youth Policy Department of the South Kazakhstan State University named after M.Auezov, R.A.Kamaldinov, Head of the History of Kazakhstan Department, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, S.Karibayev, as well as many bachelor and master’s level students and faculty participated as honorable guests. The participants discussed the historical facts related to the establishment of our state and historical data on the World War II. Special attention was given to the work of local archives. The History of Kazakhstan Department Associate Professor, Candidate of Historical Sciences, U.Aliyev, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, G.Tleukulov, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, Zh.Muldakhmetova, Senior Lecturer A.Kabyl, General History, Archeology, and Geography Department Associate Professor, Candidate of Historical Sciences, N.Tazhmukhanova also participated in the event. At the end of the meeting, the leaders of the Mangilik El Youth Movement presented books to the researchers.
