March 29-30, 2018 the Republican subject Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. The Olympiad was organized by the Department of General History and Museum Affairs of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Culture of the South Kazakhstan State University. M. Auezov. The Olympiad consisted of three stages: "Visual Recognition", "Descriptive Historical and Cultural Monuments", museum essays and projects dedicated to May 18 - Museum Day. On the Olympiad, the teams "Оңтүстік" and "Томирис" (South Kazakhstan State University named after Auezov), "Saraishy" (Atyrau State University named after K. Dosmukhamedov), "Almaz" (Aktubin State University named after K. Zhubanov) , "Murager" (Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi) and demonstrated profound museological theoretical knowledge, skills and interest in the museum. As a result of the rounds of the Olympiad the team "Mugager" won - 1 place, "Оңтүстік" and "Saraishy" - 2 nd place and the 3 rd place was taken by the team "Tomiris" and "Almaz".  

 The faculty of the department "Universal history and museum business" congratulates students on the successful performance at the Republican subject Olympiad and thanks the leadership of the university for the opportunity of their participation in this event!
