May 17, 2018 in Almaty was organized and held by the Almaty Technological University an international competition of young designers and fashion designers "Zhas orken - 2018".

 In the competition, students of the department "Fine Arts and Design" participated in the nominations "Pret-a-porter" and "Creative Art". Students Azieva E., Sharapova A., Tilemis A., Tursyngalieva J. in the leadership with the teachers of the chair Dairabaeva G. and Ibraimova L. As a result of the competition, students were awarded diplomas.
